Karagianis wins Chess.MN 3rd FIDE Invitational

NM Pete Karagianis won the Chess.MN 3rd FIDE Invitational Rating Tournament that concluded Sunday March 7, 2010 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pete scored 7/9 in this 10 player round robin event. Four Masters, Five Experts and One Class A player participated in this event, and the competition was fierce. Pete reached a USCF rating of 2255 at this end of this event, which is his peak rating so far.

Dr. Sisira K. Amarasinghe organized the event and I will be working with him in the future to organize more FIDE round robin events such as this.
