2010 Iowa Grades Chess Championship

The Iowa State Chess Association is pleased to host the Iowa Individual Grades State Championships at the Clarion Inn Wasserbahn Waterpark on Interstate I-80. (Same location as 2008 and 2009, formerly the Holiday Inn). Compete agaist opponents in your grade during this four round tournament. Where: Amana Clarion Inn Wasserbahn Waterpark and Resort ,Amana Colonies - Williamsburg ,Interstate 80 and Highway 151 interchange (I-80 Exit 225) ,Williamsburg ,IA 52361 Reg: On-site Registration: 8:30 am to 10:00 am. All entries after 10:00 will receive a 1/2 pt. bye in Round 1. Rounds: Grades K – 6, Rd 1: 10:30, Rd 2: 12:15, Rds 3 & 4 ASAP, Game in 30 minutes per player. Grades 7 – 12, Rd 1: 10:30 Rd: 2 12:45, Rds 3 & 4 ASAP, Game in 45 minutes per player. Entry Fee: $10 if registered by November 4 (Thursday) or $15 on site. Prize Info: Prizes for each grade. Trophies for 1st through 3rd place and medals for 4th through 6th place. Medals for those participating in their first chess tournament. US Chess Federation (USCF) membership required.
